Regarding BrunchBox to go/to be picked up: For the *repeated* time, a non-vegetarian box was delivered even though a vegetarian combination was requested *in writing* and confirmed. Upon request, the supplier also assured the delivery that it was a vegetarian box. Unfortunately, it was not like that. Salmon and bacon were included, the sausage was removed but the value of the goods was not replaced with, for example, more cheese. (the box currently costs €44, so things should be replaced instead of just left out)
In this day and age, in my opinion, it is a no go to either not respect a request as simple as “no fish/no meat” or to not be able to implement this accordingly as a restaurant and, on top of that, to lie during delivery.
(P.S. Due to allergies (soy, nuts), the vegan box was out of the question)
We went to eat in front of the winter variety. The food was good and the staff was super attentive and friendly.
We were there and had a 3-course meal.
The restaurant is already furnished and looks classy. Unfortunately the service was a bit weak that evening, the lady only spoke broken German and the menu was not presented.
The food was good so far, but there was a bit of a lack of spice in that the tiramisu was not served with plums (as it was in the menu) but with cherries, there was no comment on that.
And even though we were a slightly larger group, the serving of the drinks seemed quite chaotic, people were constantly asking who would get what
In summary, it was still a nice evening, but with these faux pas that I wouldn't have expected.
Large selection of cakes, they taste very good, café restaurant highly recommended if you like cakes and tarts. One point deducted because the glass still had traces of lipstick and was dirty, which was replaced immediately. Service is very friendly and quick.
Top ambience, top staff, top food, gladly again
Really disappointing! The Herrenhausen Gardens and the Georgengarten are very nice, among other things, for taking a walk - but the castle kitchen is really very disappointing - my water was poured into a dirty glass. I asked for a new one. …
A very nice location. High standards and very competent service
The ambience is quite good. It's okay that you pay for this. But otherwise you don't get more for your money: the quality of the food is mediocre and the service is legendarily slow. For example, if the butter on the asparagus takes so long …
